Glenn Livingston, Ph.D. lives in New Hampshire and is an extremely versatile psychologist. Dr. Livingston has trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, done pioneering work on emotions in market research, served as an executive coach, and, more recently, become an Internet entrepreneur. He is also married to Dr. Sharon Livingston who appeard on Shrink Rap Radio episodes #11 and #13. In today’s episode, I interview Glenn about his Dream Ansnwers software. You can read about the software at www.dreamanswers.com. He is offering it at half-price (U.S. $20) to listerners of Shrink Rap Radio. if you click here. For reading on understanding your dreams, he recommended a book by Gayle Delaney which I was not able to find on Amazon.com but you’ll find plenty of other good titles by her there to choose from. In this episode, we also hear voice commentary from Mohammed, our correspondent in Baghdad. Finally, we close the podsafe music piece, “Not On The Radio” by Geoff Smith. Thanks to Tom Krymkowski, Broadcast Engineer, who helped reduce the background noise on the interview with Dr. Livingston.

I can’t find the website or program anymore. Any idea what happened to it?
Since this show happened some time back, he may have taken his site down or moved it. Maybe because of the discount he offered us and wanted that to be time limited. I’ll try to check with him and if there is a new URL, I’ll put it in the show notes.
Hi Dr. Dave,
I did a fairly extensive search and it looks like Dr. Livingston is no longer supporting his software or selling it online anywhere. I suspect it has not been updated for new operating systems.
I then searched for some alternatives. Lots of simple tracking apps for cell phones, but most are pretty limited, i.e. you can’t sort dreams into folders or create custom categorizations.
Dreamboard looks nicely designed, is free, and is cloud based, so you can access the site with your laptop or phone or tablet. I’ve downloaded it to try. Their website is here: https://www.dreamboard.com/
Only drawback I have found so far is you can’t print all your dreams out once you enter them, you have to go in to each and copy and paste. Another user suggested a print option in September, so maybe they will add it.
Only non-phone related one I could find is: http://mythwell.com/en/alchera/
If anyone else knows of a great tracking program I would be interested to hear about it.
Thanks,
Richard
