I thought I would try something new. Here is a video clip taken from my next interview. It’s meant to be a little teaser. Let me know what you think of this idea. 🙂

Love the video format, really adds dimension and animates the conversation, happy to see more of same.
I love seeing the face behind the microphone (in action). It definitely adds another dimension to the interview. A short snippet is great!
Hi David, I really enjoyed seeing this. It’s more work for you of course but it’s great to see a little snippet of you and your guest interacting. I follow a few video interview programs and I only watch enough to see what the guest looks like and then listen in to the rest with my iPhone.
You chose a very pertinent snippet from what was to me an extraordinary interview in so many ways. There is much baggage that comes with the word ‘love’ but I am confident to say that I experience you as embodying the quality of love that I feel Nathan was talking about. It is at one and the same time intensely personal and yet at the same time quite impersonal of necessity because of the format.
Jung talked about developing the ability to hold the tension of the opposites and how doing that invokes what he called the transcendent function. When that occurs between two people, it creates a field that has a powerful healing effect no matter what the relationship between the two. When that is shared so courageously as you and your guests do, who knows how far that healing field can extend. I certainly feel it when I listen in, especially as I use headphones, which create a very intimate environment.
This is a great idea – seeing your interviewee’s facial expressions made it easier to identify and understand his felt experience of the subject matter he was communicating.
