Dr. Mathews is the Brooke Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Florida and the Director of the Center for OCD, Anxiety and Related Disorders at the University of Florida. Dr. Mathews completed her undergraduate education at Cornell University, and her medical training at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Mathews’ research and clinical interests center around identifying the causes and neural underpinnings of obsessive compulsive and related disorders, including OCD, hoarding disorder, tic disorders, and grooming disorders. She is the co-chair of Scientific Advisory Board of the Tourette Association of America and a member of the IOCDF Scientific and Clinical Advisory Board.
