Nouk Sanchez, and her collaborator, Tomas Vieira, are authors of the 2007 book, Take Me To Truth: Undoing The Ego. According to their website, Australian born, Nouk Sanchez has always been driven to seek the Truth, expose it and simplify the pathway for others to follow. Initially, this drive led her to become internationally recognized within the cosmetic industry. Nouk pioneered a revolutionary concept for “esteem-enhancing” cosmetic application. Her holistic Feature-Focusing technique was aimed at giving all women over the age of twenty-five years the opportunity to look their very natural best. Her findings led to publication of a book and the formation of her cosmetics company. Having blazed a pathway in cosmetics, Nouk retired from the industry to live in New Mexico, and dedicated herself to pursuing and teaching ego-release. In 1990, after being introduced to A Course in Miracles, Nouk and her small spiritual family embarked upon learning the Six Stages of the Development of Trust. The fifteen-year journey of awakening led her to experience and understand the mechanism of the ego – how, why, when and where we sabotage ourselves. Nouk and Tomas learned how to enter the void, hold the faith and see the face of Truth. Their discoveries led them to simplify A Course in Miracles’ miraculous formula for removing the obstacles that obscure Love’s presence in our daily lives. A simple and powerfully transformative, six-stage spiritual navigation guide is the culmination of their work together.

This quality is about the same. No need to up the size as voice is not so complex, I think.
I started with Course in Miracles about 13 years ago but got too spaced out. Discovered Science of Mind in 2002 by Ernest Holmes. I am most interested in helping my son who is 41; to heal his hurt caused by his upbringing as I had post natal depression also his father was toxic encouraging him to take alcohol and drugs – he is at present in a mental hospital because he became very lonely and is on a low neuroleptic medication. But still brings up past memories of hurt and is like a stuck record. Please can you help by telling me more about your therapy of bringing in more love or whichever you deem suitable. Is cognitive therapy a good one. He had psychotherapy with a psychiatrist/psychotherapist but has not improved. He is a brilliant poet and highly intelligent and deserves to be helped.
Hello, thanks for your shows.
Was a bit surprised by this one. I found a lot of the ideas spouted by this pair to be abhorrent and more cult like than scientific. I would have liked to hear some critical analysis of the ideas presented rather than unthinking backing from yourself. Ideally I would be interested in an attempt to separate out the useful techniques pushed in the book such as stopping and thinking about your situation from the frankly disturbing ideas such as the real world being a dream.
Another thought: It may be better to split the show in two, so that people could see that there was both the interview, and your section about the show.
PS, I like the rap jingle.

Considering life as a dream can answer all the questions you can have because the things that you don’t like are not real. Easy – and at the same time too easy for me as I discover personal growth in taking life for real. And there is the other question: If life is a dream, why do we dream life in the way we do? I don’t think that you can flee from your responsibilities by taking such an easy way.
This show was one of my favorites. I can resonate with the the “life as a dream” notion, though I can understand the perspective that finds it disturbing.
I don’t think they’re belittling the human experience by suggesting that we’re living a dream by our higher selves, god, or what-have-you. Many profound sources of wisdom have suggested that this life is a small fraction of a much greater reality outside this physical realm, and many of us get that feeling ourselves (of course, it can be explained away as a belief grounded in the fear of death).
Even if it is a dream, it doesn’t mean it lacks significance or meaning — it just means that there is eventually a waking up into something greater. Regardless, I don’t remember hearing the authors suggesting anything that could be construed as fleeing responsibilities or not being accountable.
Axel, I may have misunderstood your comment… and if life is a dream, the things you like are also not real, are they not?
Also, does it not depend on what ‘personal growth means to the individual?
For me personal growth is about letting go of all these attachments/fears we have in this world. By letting go I don’t necessarily mean that I don’t want them but rather that I can have them if I really want them. i.e. about not getting in my own way.
The words they use resemble the words of Truth that have been taught by all Awakened Beings in all times in places. But only an Awakened Being, truly absent of ego, is qualified to teach others the path to egolessness. Nouk and Tomas probably mean well, but “if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” TheTruth they are trying to express is beyond words, it is beyond the intellect, even beyond thought itself. And the greatest blessing that could happen for all of us, is that we meet such a Being who can guide us to this state. Until then, pick one of the better know Awakened Ones whose disciples took pains to ensure that their teachings would outlast their bodies in book form and try to model your lives around the lives that They lived 🙂
