Terence Watts is hypnoanalyst and author of the self-help book: Warriors, Settlers, & Nomads: Discovering Who We Are and What We Can Be. He is a fellow of the Hypnotherapy Research Society, a member of the National Council of Psychotherapists and an accredited member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy. All of these are organizations in the UK. Terence lectures internationally and he has his own private hypnotherapy practice. He’s diretor of The Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis. He is also co-author of another book: Rapid Cognitive Therapy.

Mr. Watts is clearly a very intelligent man and well read but I have mixed feelings about the whole typology thing. There is a whole cottage industry built around repackaging older typologies and selling them to a public that is typically ignorant of the existence of the earlier versions. However I thought that there was a really great chemistry between Dr. Dave and Mr. Watts. You guys would really be good doing an interview of a third party together. I think you should try it. When I first started listening I thought “oh another one of these” and was about to move on but I stopped myself and continued to listen. I am so glad I did because the exchange became quite satisfying to observe. Good show.
