Very enjoyable episode – I find graphical presentation of complex ideas really effective and the chat was interesting. I think it ought to be said however, that psychology-related graphic novels have a long history and there have been at least two absolute masterpieces created in recent years – Alison Bechdel’s, ‘Fun House’ and ‘Are you my Mother?’ are two works I would recommend to any therapist, neophyte or otherwise. Philippa Perry has also done a fine work, ‘Couch Fiction’.
And while I enjoyed the content of the Domash book, I personally think it would have been better served by a professional artist – the book is good as it is but a more sensitive and creative artist might have elevated it to a great book. Just my opinion – I am glad I read the book anyway.
Great work as always, keep it going
