Can you imagine going blind as a teenager? When most people were preparing for the adventure of adult life, Chad was watching the world he grew up with fade to black. But instead of feeling sorry for himself, he told himself “I’m gonna make blind look good.”
He became the first blind executive to graduate from the Harvard Business School leadership program and was hired by a Global Fortune 500 consulting firm. He wrote groundbreaking software that Oracle said was impossible, which created job opportunities for hundreds of millions of people. After serving as the VP of Corporate and PnT Finance, Chad currently leads Cross-Industry Sales Development at Red Hat, the world’s only multibillion-dollar open-source software company, and continues to shatter traditional notions of what people think is possible
His book ‘Blind Ambition’ is an eye-opening account of how he found his vision by losing his eyesight. He’s on a mission to use his gift of going blind to inspire others to shine a light on their own blind spots. Oh and he’s an avid downhill skier… (no joke!)
