Thank you for this feast of information from Malidoma which I find so powerful in expanding the Western perspective. The ideas were drawn out by very insightful questions by the interviewer. A very valuable interview.
Loved this interview! Absolutely wonderful and Dr Some was so articulate and gets the message across so well. I really resonated a lot with his words on many topics. I also congratulate Dr Dave on his approach to this interview. Many people from Western backgrounds with a psychological persuasion would not be so open to shamanism, and especially as a lot of what Malidoma says is about magical things. Although Dave admits that he finds magic hard to deal with, he is still open enough to talk about it honestly. Well done and great interview!
What a wonderful interview!… Dr Dave asks interesting questions…
I love Mr Some’s enthusiasm and passion. It is contagious…:-)
Malidoma took a while to get warmed up, but boy did he shine when he got going. He also realized that your conversation inspired him. I love his take on the relative reality of this world, health, evil, and mental illness. He seemed very insightful, both intelligent and wise.
I just cited this show in a class forum for the MSW program that I am in at Michigan State. I used your example of the APA citation for Shrink Rap Radio.
Thanks, Rich! 🙂 Good luck with your studies!
