Jerry Trumbule, ABD long time friend, featured in the previous episode (#3), gets his turn in the spotlight. Jerry was a star doctoral student in physiological psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. He was destined for a high-flying career in academia. At the last minute, however, he decided that the academic life would put him in a straightjacket running counter to his values. One of my long-time best buddies, he has always impressed me as super bright, creative, iconoclastic, and charismatic.He went on to create several businesses in Denver, where he lives. Among other things, he is an award-winning filmmaker and videographer. His left-leaning,often political, blog, Astounding News, has gathered a worldwide following.
