Nancy Hunter is a psychotherapist in private practice, in Toronto, Ont., Canada.

Nancy has been working in the field of personal change since 1989. She is:

* a clinical member of the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists (OSP)
* a master practitioner of classic and advanced Ericksonian hypnosis, certified with the National Guild of Hypnotherapists (CHt)
* certified in advanced Emotional Freedom Techniques
* a master practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming
* a registered Canadian Art Therapist (RCAT) – registered with the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA)

Nancy has experience working with a wide variety of clients’ life issues, from the simple to the more complex. She has worked with people having concerns such as smoking cessation, weight management, habit changes, phobias, anxieties, depression, childhood abuse or trauma (sexual, physical, and psychological) and disordered eating.

She has worked with children as young as 4, and adults as old as 75, and every age group between.

Nancy graduated in 1989 from a 2 year graduate level course at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute. Since then she worked at hospitals, schools and other community institutions, and has been trained in hypnosis, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). She went in to private practice full time in 1996. In addition to this, she teaches courses and workshops at Sheena’s Place, a place for people with eating disorders. She now also offers courses on EFT to the general public, and has made 2 hypnosis recordings, on sale from her website – www.InnovativePsychotherapy.com
