Falling with Jung down the Spirit of the Deep – A journey with C.G. Jung and Robert Bosnak
This is an in-depth course into the Red Book. It consists of 20 lectures of approximately 1.5 hours each. In each lecture Robert Bosnak will address a couple of pages of the Red Book. You can read along in your copy of the Red Book.
This course comes with a study guide. This study guide contains a synopses of each lecture, and after each class there are several questions that help you test your understanding. After finishing the whole course and all the tests, you get a CE certificate and a Certificate of Completion from the Jung Platform University.
Starting on January 12th a discussion board will be opened on the Depth Alliance website where people who follow the course can come together and discuss each particular section. A century ago, around Christmas 1913, Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung lost his way and surrendered on purpose to the tumultuous embodied intelligence of the autonomous creative imagination. The outcome is a journey as perilous as The Lord of the Rings and as enlightening as the Divine Comedy. One hundred years later Jungian analyst Robert Bosnak gets lost down in the timeless Deep together with Jung and struggles his way back to the 21st century. This is a fascinating travelogue by two men in the same territory a century apart.
Robert Bosnak, PsyA, is a Jungian psychoanalyst who graduated from the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich in 1977. Since then he was been in private practice in the United States and Australia. He founded the Santa Barbara Healing Sanctuary, developed a method of working with dreams called Embodied Imagination. He also wrote several books, among which the worldwide bestseller ‘A Little Course In Dreams’.
