Mr., Ms, MIX?! Really? I thought I would SCREAM! I’m tg and do not want to saddle the world with another PC obligation. While I recognize my own non-binary mix internally, I have found that external ambiguity and struggling feeds transphobia if only because it makes cis people work too hard, and seems self-indulgent (to me at least, knowing that everyone has issues). The separate word might become a PC necessity, encouraging tg to be relegated to a class apart from humanity. Also, tg is a bedrock matter on which a ‘lifestyle’ is chosen on other parameters like resources and interests. I say tg not TG as I (we) have work to do, and my tg resolution is not the flag I want to fly.

I feel genderqueer. I totally related to Dara’s take on gender identity. I am lucky to live in London UK and to be exposed to forward thinking queer communities so I feel totally comfortable with this topic. I would imagine for others hearing about it for the first time it might seem a bit ‘out there’ . I hope it will broaden many horizons and reach people who need the information. Thanks for a great show!
