Dan L. Edmunds Ed.D. is an existential psychoanalyst and psychotherapist. He is the founder of the International Center for Humane Psychiatry, an emancipatory movement for human rights in the mental health system. His work has focused on trauma and attachment concerns, and relational/existential approaches to autism and extreme states, He is the Diplomate of the American Psychotherapy Association. He is the author of The Meeting Of Two Persons: What Therapy Should Be and Being Autistic: An Approach Towards Acceptance And Understanding and a co-author of Mystical Metaphors.

    Awesome show!

    What Vessel Van der Kolk has done for PTSD – i.e.: prove that cure is possible – will eventually be done for autism, schizophrenia and bipolar. We will move beyond palliation, I firnly believe this. However, we have a long way to go.

    If the right hemisphere is injured or damaged,what psychological technique can we use to bring it back to function?
