My guest, Ronald A. Alexander, Ph.D., practices mind/body psychotherapy and leadership coaching in Santa Monica, CA, and specializes in the practice of somatic psychology, creativity and leadership training. He teaches clinical training groups for professionals in Somatic Psychotherapy and Ericksonian-Mind/Body healing therapies and the Art of Mindfulness meditation. Many years ago, he was one of my M.A. students at Sonoma State University and now I regard him as both colleague and teacher. Among the books, Ron recommends in this interview are: The Power of Now by Eckart Tolle, Freedom from The Known by Krishnamurti, Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind by Shunryu Suzuki, The Myth of Freedom and Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism by Chogyam Trungpa, and Memories, Dreams, Reflections by C.G. Jung. We conclude with two podsafe music selections from India in honor of Ron and his many trips to that country. The first is titled, “Om Namah Shivaya” by Bombay musician, Pranav Chavda. The second is “Silk Route” by Satya.
